As we move through the second half of the year, I’m pleased to share another edition of the Wunan newsletter.
This month, we provide an update on Road to Success, a new employment and workforce development initiative creating training, mentoring and career pathways for young people in Halls Creek, while also showcasing what our KEEP students achieved during Term 2 as they continued building skills, confidence and pathways for the future.
We also welcomed representatives from the Department of Health to visit the Kununurra Withdrawal & Intervention Centre (KWIC), and representatives from the Department of Housing & Works to view construction progress on Wunan’s new staff housing units.
Finally, we celebrate Carol’s inspiring leadership journey at Lily Lagoon Resort and recognise several sponsorships helping local people access educational, cultural and leadership opportunities across the East Kimberley.
